About Ingersoll
About Ingersoll Township
Ingersoll Township is primarily agricultural and residential in character. Wooded areas in the northern part of the township provide a home to abundant wildlife, and provide a pleasant, natural setting for many residents. Extensive farmland in the southern part of the township provides an open, rural environment for our residents living there. With about 3,200 residents, Ingersoll Township is a stable community, with many centennial farms, and families that trace their roots back five generations or more.
Ingersoll Township is conveniently situated just south of the City of Midland, Michigan, and just west of Freeland, Michigan and MBS International Airport.
